Here is a thought. If you're looking for a 100 mile ride, why not choose one of the loops they do on the Hemet DC. Here is the route for the second loop:

That climb up Sage Road is nice. I'll bet there are a lot of other good climbs up there too.

I suspect from the "Introductions" post that 100 miles may be a bit too soon for this relatively new road cyclist, but if there's a loop one can make of lesser duration, that's a great suggestion. Nice post, B395.
