I had no cheese, no grits, no bacon for breakfast.
 OTOH, I did get a bike ride in, and that was the point. Then I wrote 12 notes to people I met last week, and my hand and brain are tired. Time for bed. Sweet dreams, y'all!

I survived the night with the boys, now to survive today!
Last night watching NatGeo Wild about spiders!   Took them to the park around 11am and returned home around 12:30-1:00p. Ate lunch and now they are down for a nap....or they are at least in the bed...after nap, we will go find something to play with outside - maybe fill the sand box up or pick some pine cones up...something to wear them out more for the evening.

Well....kid's back at college.
Painter is a painting. Doggeh is napping right next to me. I've read 2 chapters of Financial Mgt...probably read one more. May get a few ends shot before the sun goes down....went by the range to see if they had some better arrows....they didn't. My current setup requires a slightly smaller o.d. arrow than what I currently have, but the one's they said they can get are like $300/dz. F! that. I can find some 1616 arrows somewhere and get them refletched (or do it myself) for about $50. Some time this evening, I plan on spending an hour with Coach Troy too. And Wofie...I knew you'd be just fine.

well, it's been nice...but I think I hear movement from the bedroom!
Dallas has finished my cross bike too...I'll probably pick it up Monday afternoon/evening.

And your grandkids are cute. I'll bet you're having a blast with them. How's Taylor taking to them? I got out for a ride but just couldn't keep my speed up. So I quit trying and just rode. Beautiful day. Came home to find daughter had vacuumed the house, dusted, washed the family room chair &couch covers, groomed the dogs, cleaned the kitchen, cooked a pie pumpkin & toasted the seeds, and was finishing making pumpkin butter. That's a lot to have accomplished in 1:50! But  because I didn't have to do it.

Ha. I wouldn't exactly say I'm having a blast. This is A LOT to handle for someone who hasn't (on purpose) been around very young kids in a long time - very stressful. Love em, but very stressful. But, anyways...
Taylor is sort of ok, but a bit skittish around them. She will get up on hte couch when we are all together, but I think she's like all of us....ready for them to go home to Momma.
