Shot another 150rds tonight. Got a few really good pointers from the former-Marine Gunny (and let him fire my Kimber as a "thank you" -- he's a big 1911 fan), and of my last 100rds, approx 50% found the inside of the 9-ring or better.

Got home and got my pistol cleaned (so clean, I'd feed a baby with it), lightly oiled, and put to bed in its case.

Am about ready for bed myself. As soon as I finish sipping on this small-ish *cough* pour of Catdaddy.

So, how was everyone else's day? Do check in at this Dewdrop Inn....

I think today is the day to wash/wax my car. Might even be warm enough to wear my Daisy Dukes.

Thanks, VV, we're good -- that was some scary stuff! Sacramento, which is pretty flat, had some places hard-hit. Lots of snow in the Sierra, too. Here we have just rain. Fine with me.

Mission accomplished. My 11-year-old car looks like a young pup again, all clean and shiny.

Now I'm just waiting to see if we get some rain from Sandy so I get the pleasure of watching it bead up while I'm out driving. I love the appreciative looks I get from men who check out the nice wax job at the stoplights.

Of course, don't want to see any rain before my next online ammo delivery arrives.
